Chicago wind is no joke. I’ve gone through three different jackets in three years trying to find one that doesn’t let the breeze cut right through the zipper. This puffer finally did the trick. The material is surprisingly soft, but it acts like a total shield. 10/10 would recommend.
My daughter actually begged me to get this for her after she saw it online. We live in the rainy PNW, and I was worried about the moisture. To my surprise, the water beads right off! Now we both have matching ones. It’s her favorite jacket for school, and she says she gets compliments in the hallway every single day. Highly Recommended
I bought this for my daughter’s 21st birthday. She just moved to Washington for grad school and wasn’t prepared for the damp, biting cold. I’ve lived in Chicago my whole life, so I know a ‘Hawk’ wind when I feel one. I bought this white puffer specifically for my morning commute on the L-train. My previous coats were either too bulky or didn’t have a structured hood. This hood actually stays up against 30mph gusts, and the insulation is incredible without making me look like a marshmallow. If you live in a windy climate, this is a must-buy.
I bought this jacket for my teen daughter, and she’s obsessed! The fit is great, and the hood is her favorite feature.
