I traveled to Europe last month and only took this coat. It worked for dinner at fancy restaurants and for walking around museums. It’s very versatile and looks great in photos!
I wore this on a very windy day in the city. The wool is thick enough that the wind didn’t bite through. The buttons are sewn on tight, too, which is usually a problem with cheaper coats.
As soon as I took it out of the box, I could tell it was high quality. The weight of the wool is substantial. It feels heavy enough to be expensive but light enough to wear comfortably all day.
I like to wear hoodies underneath my coats for a casual look. This coat has enough room for a layer underneath without feeling tight, but it still keeps its shape. Very happy with the purchase.
I’m a tall guy and often find sleeves to be too short. I ordered my usual size and it fits perfectly. The charcoal black is a nice change from just plain black it has a bit more character.
